Ozonated water is a sustainable, residue-free tool in modern agriculture. It promotes robust root growth by super-oxygenating the root zone. However, as a weed killer, it is only effective as a pre-plant tool and is not a substitute for traditional post-emergent herbicides.

GP-01 How Does it Work

• Root Stimulation: The GP-01 produced low dose O₃ enriched water, increases dissolved oxygen (DO) levels in your soil. High DO levels enhance root respiration, facilitate better nutrient and water uptake, and foster a strong, disease-resistant root system.
• Disease & Pest Control: The O₃ enriched water acts as a powerful, organic oxidizer that sterilizes the root zone. It helps control soil-borne diseases (such as Pythium and Fusarium) and suppresses root-knot nematodes without damaging the plant.
• Residue-Free: Because ozone is highly unstable, it rapidly decomposes into pure oxygen after neutralizing organic pathogens. This leaves no harmful chemical residues in your soil.

Using GP-01 Ozonated Water for Weeds

• Pre-Plant Weed Control: The high dose O₃ enriched water is an effective pre-plant technique often injected via drip tape beneath plastic mulch to oxidize growing weeds before a crop is planted.
• Limitation: It is not a targeted post-emergent herbicide you can safely spray over established crops. Spraying high-concentration ozonated water directly over established green weeds can damage or kill the weeds, but it can also cause "burn" or oxidative stress to the foliage and roots of your desired plants.
